  • Close cover and allow food to cook for the desired time. (See cooking chart.)

Note: Always use heatproof plastic, nylon, or wood utensils to avoid scratching the nonstick surface of grill plates. Never use metal skewers, tongs, forks, or knives.

  • When finished cooking, unplug the appliance.
  • Allow the drip tray to cool before removing it from under the grill. Wash and dry the drip tray after each use. It can also be washed in the upper rack of the dishwasher.

SUGGESTED COOKING CHART

The cooking times and temperatures in the below chart are meant to be used as a guideline only. Cooking time will depend upon the food thickness and cut being used. Use a meat thermometer to test for doneness by inserting the thermometer into the thickest portion of the meat. For reasons of personal preference, you may choose to cook food to a higher temperature.George-Foreman-GR340FB-4-Serving-Grill-and-Panini -Press-fig-3 George-Foreman-GR340FB-4-Serving-Grill-and-Panini -Press-fig-4

FAQs About George Foreman GR340FB 4-Serving Grill and Panini Press

What is the George Foreman Grill used for?

For grilling steak, burgers, poultry, vegetables, and more, the George Foreman 2-Serving Basic Plate Grill and Panini offer quick grilling times and mouthwatering results. Cooking fat is reduced by the unique sloping surface, and every usage leaves the George Tough nonstick coating clean.

How do I know if my George Foreman Grill is ready?

When the grill is ready to cook, a green indicator light appears on top of the red one that indicates when it is preheating. Eliminate all uncertainty when grilling. The grill preheats to a steady temperature so that outcomes are predictable and fast.

Is a George Foreman Grill expensive to use?

When comparing the Fit Grills to a traditional oven grill, you can save up to 88% on energy. Are you feeling the pressure of growing energy costs? Compared to a traditional oven grill, the George Foreman Fit Grills consume up to 88% less energy. This means that cooking a single meal in the oven is no longer necessary!

Do George Foreman grills cook both sides?

The fact that your George Foreman grill cooks food on both sides greatly reduces cooking time, which is one of its many wonderful features.

What are George Foreman Grill plates made of?

A multilayer, nonstick ceramic coating that covers the plates makes cleanup easier and uses less butter and oil. To prevent extra fat from dripping into your steak, poultry, or hamburgers, use ceramic plates that have a sloping grilling angle.

Can you put butter on a George Foreman Grill?

You can often achieve excellent results with as little as 1-2 teaspoons of oil or butter instead of the usual 1-2 tablespoons. Try adding 1-2 tablespoons of oil at the beginning of cooking if you want to start cutting back on the amount you add; if you need to add more to avoid sticking, add a little at a time.

Is the George Foreman Grill supposed to be loose?

Your George Foreman grill’s upper section simply seems slack so that taller foods can still fully utilize the top cooking area. For even covering, the rear end (across the two halves’ hinge) is permitted to rise somewhat. There will be no “lid” fallout.

Who created George Foreman Grill?

Michael Boehm, the inventor, came up with the idea for the grill, which goes by the official name George Foreman Lean Mean Fat-Reducing Grilling Machine. His goal was to create an inside grill that could cook food on both sides simultaneously.

What is George Foreman Grill best for?
