Overshoot protection

The electronic components installed in the luminaire are protected against overshoot under DIN EN 61547. To achieve additional protection against eg transients, etc. we recommend separate overvoltage safety features. You can find them on our website at   www.bega.com.

The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused by improper use or installation. If subsequent changes are made to the information, the person responsible for these changes will be considered the creator.

confirmation

  • Pass the power cable through the cable entry on the mounting plate.
  • Fix the installed plate with inserts or other suitable items on the platform.
  • Be sure to use the supplied gasket rings.
  • Make the connection between the earth conductor and the electrical connection.
  • For digital control please use a terminal connecting DA, and DA.
  • If this terminal is not used, the lamp will operate at full brightness.
  • To ensure a long service life of electrical components, a closed desiccant bag must be placed inside the luminaire.
  • Remove the desiccant bag from the foil packaging and place it in the area marked by the red information symbol immediately before turning off the light.
  • Make an earth conductor connection between the luminaire housing and the mounting plate.
  • Press the plug into the coupler as far as it will go.
  • Make sure the gasket is in place.
  • Insert the luminaire housing into the mounting plate and turn it to where it will go.

Cleaning · Maintenance

  • Clean the light regularly with solvent-free cleaners to remove dirt and deposits.
  • Do not use high-pressure cleaners.

To replace the LED module

  • The selection of the LED module is noted on the label on the lamp.
  • The light color and brightness produced by the BEGA modules match those of the original installed modules.
  • The module can be replaced by qualified personnel using standard equipment.
  • Disconnect the system.
  • LEDs are high-quality electronics! Please avoid touching the LED light directly during relamping.
  • Remove the luminaire housing from the mounting plate by turning it counterclockwise.
  • Disconnect plug-in devices.
  • Unscrew the retaining screw (wrench size 2.5 mm) inside the luminaire housing. Remove the trim ring along with the glass and mirror from the luminaire housing by turning it counterclockwise.
  • Replace the LED module. Please follow the instructions to install the LED light.
  • Screw the trim ring along with the glass and reflector into the luminaire housing by turning it clockwise. Tighten the retaining screw in the luminaire housing firmly.
  • Make an earth conductor connection between the luminaire housing and the mounting plate.
  • Press the plug into the coupler as far as it will go.
  • Make sure the gasket is in place.
  • Insert the luminaire housing into the mounting plate and turn it to where it will go.
