About Abestorm

Abestorm Crawl Space NeatyFresh Max allows for the free circulation of air on the porch and under the house. High moisture levels in the crawl spaces can lead to the decay and rot of wooden pillars that support the house, floor, joists, and beam pillars. Also, high humidity causes an increase in termite activity and the growth of fungi. Rust, which causes corrosion and leaks in metallic pipes, is also factored into the moisture level in your crawl space.

With our ventilation fan, radon gas from treated wood is expelled away. This gas and other odors can easily spread into the living room and cause discomfort. The NeatyFresh Max fan uses a humidity switch to control the fan to commence operation. The fan starts operating when the recorded humidity surpasses the selected value.

HOW IT WORKS

When set to maximum airflow, the scrubber draws air through two types of filters- a Pre-Filter and a HEPA/Activated Carbon Filter.

  1. Pre-Filter The first phase of filtration. the prefilter captures initial dust and allergen particles.
  2. HEPA/Activated Carbon Filter The second phase of filtration, the HEPA/Activated Carbon Filter, catches smaller particles, down to 0.3 microns. Contributes to the control and prevention of the growth of bacteria, germs, and mold. Captures 99.99% of dust and allergens.
  3. Filteair HEPA S1 and Filteair HEPA S2 with built-in UV-C light technology work with filters to enhance the elimination of airborne germs Titanium Dioxide is activated by the UV-C light to decompose remaining odor molecules caused by smoking, cooking, and pets.

Note: The unit will turn on the UV-C light every 4 hours for 3 minutes each time to sterilize the inside of the equipment and the filter.

SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Daisy-Chain Capability Using the auxiliary outlet on the control panel, you can link up to 3 units together. You can also daisy-chain the machines when they are stacked vertically (limit of 2 units).
  •  Multi-Positional The Filterair HEPAS1/S2/S3 can be operated in the vertical position, as well as when stacked vertically (up to 2 units). When storing, the machines can be stacked horizontally to save space.

Removable Intake Panel

The Filter HEPAS1/S2/S3 is equipped with a removable panel on the intake side of the machine. The removable panel is quite useful in remediation applications, so you can draw air out of the room and create more negative pressure (use a manometer to monitor air pressure). To use panel:

  1. Remove the panel.
  2. Install the machine outside the containment area to draw air out.
  3. Cut a hole in the containment plastic that is the size of the unit’s inlet.
  4. Insert the inlet into plastic and seal the circumference tightly with duct tape.

FAQs About Abestorm S1 CFM Air Scrubbers

What is the ideal lifespan of an air scrubber?

The lifespan of an Aerus air scrubber varies from 10 to 20 years based on the model and usage frequency. Because Aerus air scrubbers are long-lasting, years of clean air can be achieved from them with careful maintenance.

What is the required CFM for an air scrubber?

Therefore, to achieve the proper air filtering in a space measuring 25′ x 32′ x 12′ and requiring six air changes per hour, you will need at least one 1,200 CFM or two 500 CFM air scrubbers. The math operates as follows: 25, 32, and 12 feet equal 9,600 cubic feet. 9,600 cubic feet are equal to one air change.

Do dust mites get rid of dust?

An air scrubber is an item that you can install straight into your HVAC system’s ductwork. It eliminates dust, odors, pet dander, surface pollutants, air pollution, and volatile organic compounds.

Do air scrubbers require upkeep?

A well-maintained air scrubber system is essential to its proper operation. Every week or every month, clean the sections of the air scrubber. Six suggestions are provided below to assist you in completing each maintenance round.

Are air scrubbers energy-hungry devices?

To put it in a language that most people can comprehend, the energy consumption of an air purifier is comparable to that of a cell phone charger. This implies that you could run one continuously for roughly $120 a year.

Do air purifiers eliminate pollen?

Depending on its capacity, air scrubbers can eliminate a variety of airborne contaminants, including smoke, bacteria, viruses, fungi, dust, pet dander, pollen, and chemicals.

Can you hear air scrubbers?

The HEPA 700 Air Scrubber only produces 67 dB at its peak, which is hardly louder than a typical conversation. Because of this, using this air scrubber in crowded, bustling spaces like businesses and schools is highly recommended.

Where should I put an air scrubber?

Within the supply plenum are air scrubbers fitted. The HVAC air handler’s sheet metal box, which is huge and situated either on top of it or next to it, is where the hot and cold air exits to feed into the remaining supply ducts. The side of the plenum must first have a square hole cut out of it before the unit can be placed.
