About Abestorm

Abestorm Crawl Space NeatyFresh Max allows for the free circulation of air on the porch and under the house. High moisture levels in the crawl spaces can lead to the decay and rot of wooden pillars that support the house, floor, joists, and beam pillars. Also, high humidity causes an increase in termite activity and the growth of fungi. Rust, which causes corrosion and leaks in metallic pipes, is also factored into the moisture level in your crawl space.

With our ventilation fan, radon gas from treated wood is expelled away. This gas and other odors can easily spread into the living room and cause discomfort. The NeatyFresh Max fan uses a humidity switch to control the fan to commence operation. The fan starts operating when the recorded humidity surpasses the selected value.

OPERATION NOTES GUIDELINES

The unit should be operated stored and transported on stable surfaces. For efficiency purposes, the windows and the doors should be closed to avoid placing the unit in a place where the air outlet and inlet are blocked.

Drain Hose Notes

  • It comes with a drain line connection that is easily plugged into the unit
  • The drain line may be directed into the drain or the sink
  • For proper drainage, uncoil the hose before you deploy it to use.
  • The end of the hose should never be placed at a height of 15 feet.
  • Always ensure that the drain hose is not blocked before you embark on using it.

Transportation Notes

  • During transportation, you must secure the dehumidifier using elastic bands.
  • If the unit is transported vertically, let it stand in a normal position for not less than 30 minutes before using it.

How it works

  • The dehumidifier uses an integral humidistat to monitor the conditioned space. As soon as the conditions get beyond the desired level, the air is energized. The compressor will then push it across the evaporator coils. The coil is cooler than the dew point. So the water vapor will be forced to condense into liquid. The cool air will then be reheated before it is distributed into the room.

FAQs About Abestorm Hurricane DV Commercial Dehumidifiers with Pump and Drain Hose

What is the longest drain hose length for a dehumidifier?

Up to 16 vertical feet can be pumped by the drain pump. Never use a tubing length greater than the 16-foot hose that is supplied.

Does the drain hose on a dehumidifier go up?

Your dehumidifier will overflow if the drain hose is positioned above the drain fitting.

Can you empty a dehumidifier into a washbasin?

Make sure your dehumidifier empties into a washbasin or a pipe. If you do decide on a model with a motorized pump, attach a water line to the drain pump hole on the dehumidifier.

Does a pump accompany a dehumidifier?

When a dehumidifier lacks an integrated pump, it must rely either on gravity through the drainage hose or on drainage into a bucket.

Are dehumidifiers thermally active?

If your room temperature is too high, your dehumidifier will release hot air. Compressor dehumidifiers continuously release air that is somewhat hotter than the air in your room. The dehumidifier will always cause your room to get a little warm. This produces a nice effect in the cold winter months.

Is it better to use a pump or hose with my dehumidifier?

If there’s a nearby drain that’s lower than your dehumidifier’s drain output, use the gravity hose. If there is a washbasin or window nearby where you can let the water out, use the internal pump option. Just like that!

How do AC-equipped dehumidifiers operate?

The dehumidifier takes out extra moisture from the air before your air conditioner runs and moves it via the ducts. Less wet patches can be found throughout your house by eliminating moisture from the air conditioning system. High humidity can potentially harm your house.

Does a drain hose come with every dehumidifier?

No, the dehumidifier does not come with a drain hose. All you have to do is purchase enough length of garden hose and trim off any excess.

Do dehumidifiers consume a lot of power?

In general, a dehumidifier will require more watts the larger it is and the higher its wattage. While smaller devices typically only require about 22 watts, larger ones can use up to 500 watts.

Can a toilet be drained by a dehumidifier?

Well, theoretically. It would become complex in practice. Furthermore, it’s unlikely that you’ll receive enough to justify the effort. The toilet would waste water equal to the quantity you added to the tank if you simply plumbed the dehumidifier output into the tank.
